About

Gaia’s Guitar intends to invoke forgiveness and healing in wake of deep injustices, despair, grief, and loss - of self and loved ones.

I believe it is our social responsibility as artists to inspire, motivate and move forward as separate individuals with our own stories and the divine right to exist in harmony, to pursue life liberty and happiness with kindred spirit in mind and heart and to reevaluate our purpose in relation to our mothers and to our Great Mother Earth.

It started during Covid. Of course the pandemic had a profound effect on every walk of life, including every nonliving process - production, manufacturing, and jobs. I realized we’ve been given a unique opportunity.

After working as a house painter and in scenic art production for over a decade, knowing that singing and music can deeply affect listeners, it seemed rather fitting to concentrate on a guitar mural.

Our world seems to be filled with constraints. Some are useful. Some are oppressive. Gaia’s Guitar is a symbolic art piece I created to transmute the soul of life into a shared collective consciousness and limitless, but fully tangible vision for designing hope.”
